Due to popular demand, our Stage 1 training course is returning to Aberdeen this July. 
Dance United’s training course “An Introduction to Dance United’s Methodology and Practice in Social Inclusion” looks at how to deliver high quality contemporary dance when working with challenging groups in the community.
Citymoves Dance Agency will host the training, which runs from Monday 8th to Thursday 11th July. Early booking is advised as places are limited.

U Dance 2013 is coming to Leeds this July and the team behind it are keen to hear from volunteers.  
This is a great chance to get experience delivering a youth dance festival as well as seeing some great performances!  Dance United Yorkshire will present Inbetween, and the short film The Mourners (featuring our London Performance Company) will also be screened.More info

Ethiopia’s biggest contemporary dance company has transformed street children into professional dancers who now enjoy international recognition and have been freed from the grinding poverty of their upbringing. 
Supporters of the project say the 18 young dancers from the Adugna Dance Company are living proof that human and social development must go hand in hand.
“Adugna” means “luck” or “chance” in the Amharic language and the company, which started as an experimental project in the streets of Addis Ababa, has grown into something of an international phenomenon over the past 15 years, impressing audiences across the globe.
